Pirates of the Caribbean PSP & DS Bound

Buena Vista Entertainment announced today that a video game conversion of the hit blockbuster film Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, as well as it upcoming sequel Dead Man's Chest, will see a release on both the Sony PSP and the Nintendo DS handheld systems.
The game will be developed by Griptonite Games, makers of of James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing and The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance.
"The Pirates of the Caribbean franchise will develop over the next few years as one of the most exciting and important initiatives Buena Vista Games will spearhead," said Buena Vista Games' Senior Vice President and General Manager Graham Hopper.
The first game in this series of adaptations will be Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, which is the sequel to the first Pirates film due out in theatres next summer. The title will release on both the PSP and DS coinciding with the debut of the movie.
