Thumper's 'Rhythm Violence' Action Heading To Nintendo Switch
Thumper, the "rhythm violence" game from developer Drool, garnered quite a strong following when it launched last October. It presented a striking take on the rhythm game genre, a field once made popular by titles with elaborate plastic controllers, and came complete with ultra-fast visuals and trippy music. It was originally launched for the PC and PS4, and the fact that it was compatible with Oculus and PlayStation VR only served to make it all the more intense. Now its diminion is growing, and the official Thumper Twitter account has announced that the game will soon be making its way to the Nintendo Switch.
When Can You Play Thumper on Nintendo Switch?
Switch players and rhythm game enthusiasts won't have to wait long to get their hands on Thumper, as the game is scheduled to release across the world on May 18. It'll be landing in the Nintendo eShop for $20, and is set to support 1080p gameplay at 60 frames-per-second as well as the Switch's unique HD Rumble feature.
