Payday Crime War Finally Gets Its First Trailer
The game's team-based heist action is set to arrive soon.
Players fond of the Payday series of games likely remember the announcement of a new mobile game in the franchise being announced back at E3 2016. It was named Payday Crime War, and aside from the title, we haven't heard much about the game since then. Fortunately, with E3 2017 just around the corner, the developers behind the game have released a new trailer showcasing what players can expect from the upcoming title.
It must be saidt hat the game looks excellent. The quasi-cel-shaded style really seems to pop on mobile, and the action certainly looks as frenetic as series veterans might expect. The bulk of the game will center around eight-player team-based action where a group of four players will attempt heists while another group of four will attempt to stop them.
When Payday Crime War was first announced, the game was set to be developed in partnership with Cmune, the team players might recognize as the group behind Deadheads. Now, however, the game appears to be the result of development studio Badfly Interactive, who have earned recognition for their work on the mobile Dead Effect games.
There's no set release date for Payday Crime War, but seeing as how the game is listed as coming "out soon," it may be that players can expect more information to surface at this year's E3.
