E3 2017 - Nintendo Reveals New Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Footage
Players got an all-new look at what's shaping up to be a massive RPG experience.
The Nintendo Switch has been out for a few months at this point, and players are just now beginning to see the true potential of the Nintendo's hybrid console. Among the many games that were teased for the Switch prior to its launch was Xenoblade Chronicles 2, a sequel to the epic 2010 hit RPG, and Nintendo has given its fans an all-new look at what they can expect from the series' latest iteration.
There are loads of important highlights that can be gathered from the above trailer, but the most important details should come as no surprise: the game is still set in a sprawing fantasy-meets-science-fiction world complete with towering creatures, enormous airships, and wildly-oversized swords.
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 would be a tremendous release for any system, so the fact that it's landing on Nintendo's take-anywhere console makes it all the more appealing. Players can expect to learn more about Xenoblade Chronicles 2 in the months leading up to its anticipated Holiday 2017 release.
The original Xenoblade Chronicles was ported to the New Nintendo 3DS back in 2015, and remains one of the best games for the handheld system. To discover more great 3DS titles, check out our list of the Best Nintendo 3DS Games.
