E3 2017 - Bethesda Teases New Elder Scrolls: Legends Expansion
The Elder Scrolls: Legends is growing with the all-new Heroes of Skyrim expansion.
Good news is on the horizon for players that feel like The Elder Scrolls: Legends doesn't have enough in common with Skyrim: Bethesda found an opportunity during their E3 2017 press conference to showcase a new expansion to their hit CCG title called Heroes of Skyrim, and it seems like players will finally have the chance to battle and collect cards based on well-known Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim characters.
As can be seen from the above trailer, the Heroes of Skyrim expansion alludes to several story- and gameplay-based elements from The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. The path to Sovngarde is mentioned, which feels like a direct reference to the end-game events of Skyrim, and other elements like Werewolves, the College of Winterhold, and dragons are all going to be part of the mix.
As far as we know, the new content will likely be presented in the same format as Legends' Fall of the Dark Brotherhood expansion, where players could either buy the new content outright using real-world cash or instead purchase the content in chapters using in-game gold.
Best of all, the new expansion was given a firm release date, and it's coming up soon: players can expect to get a taste of The Elder Scrolls: Legends Heroes of Skyrim expansion on June 29.
