EA Announces Mobile Lineup
Eight Titles to Take on the Go
Electronic Arts has recently announced eight of their 20 mobile games scheduled for release for 2005 (and into 2006). The games include: Fifa Soccer 2006, The Sims 2, Need for Speed Underground 2, two versions of Tiger Woods PGA Tour, and Madden NFL 2006. Additional "casual 2D games" from Pogo.com will also be available: Poppit, Turbo 21, and Tri-Peaks Solitaire.
John Batter, VP and General Manager of EA Mobile said, "The world of mobile gaming is about to explode! Better games, richer graphics and deeper communities will take cell phone gaming to entirely new depths with experiences that are as adrenaline charged as console gaming. With racing, sports and puzzle games, our lineup features something fun for everyone. If you're looking for a deep experience or if you want to just game-on-the-go, these games have it all."
Although no release date for the titles have been set, the games will be on display at the Electronic Entertainment Expo May 18th. Modojo will have more on EA's other mobile lineup when they are revealed.
