ABC Offers News on PSP
Because newspapers are so last year
Not much longer than a week ago, Playboy Enterprises announced that it would be offering PSP owners the ability to view its content on their portable device, making them the first company of this kind to provide services for the popular new multimedia system. Today, ABC News has revealed that they too will be joining in on the excitement of the new handheld, as they become the first PSP provider of news and information content.
"Today, 99% of people with PSPs are using it to play the fantastic games," said Bernie Gershon, ABC News Digital Media Group Senior Vice President and General Manager. "But our view is that wherever there is a screen, there is a potential viewer of ABC News."
PSP owners can download selected ABC content free of charge through the ABC News Now Program at the PSP Connect website. Currently there are two different programs available.
