Feed Me Oil
The downfall of the Western world, now made into a light-hearted puzzler.
We the people of the United States love all you can eat buffets, Jersey Shore and most importantly, oil, as in we can't get off the stuff. Politicians ramble on about "clean energy", but let's face it. It'll be years before the country pours bio fuels into its street clearing SUVs.
On that note, we find Chillingo's upcoming puzzle game, Feed Me Oil, both horrifying and delightful. In it, you must guide the black stuff into specially marked locations that, judging by the screens, are the mouths of strange looking creatures.
The 45 puzzles contain a variety of tools to get the job done, including platforms, fans and oil magnets. On top of that, there's more than one solution for each stage, and you'll unlock bonus levels over time.
Whether or not it's fun remains to be seen, but one thing's for sure, Feed Me Oil has a cool art style with surreal landscapes and characters. Bottom line, we've never seen anything like it.
What we really want to know is whether the game has an environmental message. Then again, perhaps we're over thinking it. Maybe we should just accept Feed Me Oil for what it is...a unique puzzler with imaginative graphics.
Nah, there's no fun in that.
Look for the game this March.
