Heavy.com Provides PSP Content
Thousands of hours of free entertainment...
Heavy.com announced today that it has been chosen by Sony Crop. to be its first content partner for the PSP. The broadband network company reaches over 5 million viewers monthly, and will provide its entire library of animations and live-action video shorts free of charge for any PSP owner to download.
"We are very excited to be the first mover in the hottest content platform available today," said David Carson, Co-CEO of Heavy.com. "Sony recognized that our unique and signature content was ideal to reach its target demographic of 18-34 year old men and to showcase the PSP's non-gaming capabilities. We're thrilled to be the first broadband network to 'PSP-cast' our programming. The response thus far to our downloads has been massive."
As of today, there are six episodes of action sports series Blisster available for download at Heavy.com. The episodes can be downloaded onto PCs and laptops where they can then be synced with PSPs in a matter of 5 minutes. The company plans to have more than 40 hours of programming available for the PSP in the coming weeks.
