Nintendo 3DS: How To Get More StreetPass Friends
Don't stay indoors playing games all day. 3DS loves to travel.
Nintendo wants you to take its 3DS outside in the hopes of exchanging StreetPass information with other system owners. That said, it's sometimes tough finding other handhelds in the wild.
On that note, you'll increase the odds of finding 3DS players at the following locations:
- GameStop: If GameSpot were smart, the powers that be would make sure employees carried their 3DS systems at all times.
- Nintendo World Store: We've seen huge gatherings of DS owners playing Mario Kart and Pokemon. Expect tons of happy 3DS happy fans in the future.
- School/University: This is an easy one, as the Wi-Fi pickup seems strong, allowing you and your peers to easily exchange information. However, if you're not a member of the school, don't be a creepy trespasser. Stick to Gamestop.
