Gameloft Announces N.O.V.A. Near Orbit Vanguard Alliance Elite
There's another first person adventure coming to iOS, and this one could be the best the platform has to offer.
Gameloft made a stunning announcement this afternoon in the form of N.O.V.A. Near Orbit Vanguard Alliance Elite, the latest entry in the popular iPhone/iPad series. Unfortunately, the company didn't provide any details.
That said, it's safe to assume a few things based on Gameloft's history. The fact that the publisher referred to Elite as one of its secret projects suggests it'll feature Epic's Unreal Engine 3, as Gameloft has four titles in the works built from the ground up to work with the impressive tech.
Next, and since this is Gameloft, it wouldn't surprise us if the designers took inspiration from Bungie's Halo: Reach. That game stars a group of Spartans, and as you can clearly see from Elite's artwork, there are a bunch of soldiers, but that's all we have. No word on whether the game is multiplayer based or co-op focused.
