Real Racing 2 HD: Now Available In 1080p
Firemint's driving game has never looked better.
One of the best things about owning a shiny new piece of technology (you know, like an iPad 2) involves showing it to friends and family. After all, all those "oohs" and "ahhs" help justify spending more than $500.
That said, you should wait for the perfect moment to dazzle your loved ones with Real Racing 2 HD on iPad 2. Firemint's critically acclaimed App already looks incredible on that glorious screen, and now you can up the ante by playing the game on an HDTV in full 1080p resolution.
To do this, you'll need to purchase/update Real Racing 2 HD, then find a 1080p/HDMI compatible television. Also, don't forget the Apple Digital AV Adapter and HDMI cable.
Once you connect everything, you'll be able to enjoy the game in all its glory while using the iPad 2 to steer and monitor your lap times, position and speed. Even better, disconnecting won't kill the game. It'll just move the action back onto the iPad 2.
Firemint posted a video of 1080p gameplay in action, and it looks outstanding. There's also a detailed FAQ, just in case.
