Majesco Announces Cooking Mama 4: Kitchen Magic and Camping Mama: Outdoor Adventures
Slice and dice veggies in 3D, then learn how to row your boat.
Just when we thought Majesco was done publishing "Mama" games, the company reeled us back in.
Seriously, though, when a franchise sells over eight million units in the U.S., you should probably continue making new games for it. Thus, Cooking Mama 4: Kitchen Magic and Camping Mama: Outdoor Adventures will hit the 3DS and DS, respectively, this fall.
"We'âre very proud of the work weâ've put in to make the Mama brand one of the most successful and recognizable franchises in the industry,"â said Jesse Sutton, Chief Executive Officer, Majesco. â"Gamers of all ages and backgrounds have been enjoying the Mama titles for years, and we think they'âll continue to do so with these next two additions as Mama explores new territories, be it the wild outdoors or the new technology the 3DS provides."
The first title, Kitchen Magic, continues the successful Cooking Mama series, but ups the ante with 200 plus mini-games, new recipes, cool 3D effects and 3DS gyroscope controls.
Camping Mama, meanwhile, lets you rough it through 100 stylus based mini-games that include making a fishing pole, cooking animals, tree climbing and pitching a tent, so to speak.
Barring some unforeseen collapse, it appears that Mama can't be stopped. We'll have more info on both games in the near future.
