THQ Announces E3 Lineup
Handheld titles aplenty
THQ revealed today the lineup of handheld titles it will be showcasing at the Electronic Entertainment Expo next week. Appealing to a mass-market audience, the company hopes to deliver exciting adventures appropriate for gamers of all ages.
Tak: The Great JuJu Challenge is the latest title in the Tak franchise, featuring team-based cooperative gameplay that combines both puzzles and combat as players compete in The Great JuJu Challenge. Available on the Nintendo DS and Game Boy Advance this fall.
SpongeBob SquarePants: Lights, Camera, PANTS! is a multiplayer game based on the popular SpongeBob SquarePants cartoon series. As many as 4 players can engage in both competitive and cooperative gameplay for the prize of becoming a cast member in a special SpongeBob episode. Releasing on the Game Boy Advance this fall, an additional title SpongeBob SquarePants: The Yellow Avenger will also be available on the Sony PSP and Nintendo DS at the same time.
The Incredibles: Rise of the Underminer takes place where the film left off, allowing players to assume the role of Mr. Incredible and Frozone as they team up to take on a new villain, The Underminer. Nintendo DS and Game Boy Advance will see the game this fall.
THQ Wireless will also be presenting a large lineup of games scheduled to hit mobile handsets sometime this year, including titles based on Full Spectrum Warrior, Warhammer 40,000, Evil Dead, Destroy All Humans!, MotoGP, Juiced, WWE, and MX vs ATV.
