Spy Mouse Scurries Onto iPhone This Summer
Firemint hopes you'll find all the cheese in the company's newest video game.
Ever since Electronic Arts purchased Firemint, we've kept a close eye on the company to see what kinds of games both parties will create.
Suffice to say, we didn't see this one coming.
The Australian based developer, best known for the Real Racing series and Flight Control, announced Spy Mouse, slated to hit the iPhone this summer.
In it, you play the role of Agent Squeak, an International Mouse of Mystery on a mission to reclaim a bunch of cheese from dastardly cats.
To succeed, you'll utilize a bunch of gadgets to avoid traps and outsmart those evil felines across 70 levels and six unique worlds full of danger.
"Spy mouse is the third big original title from Firemint," said Rob Murray, Director of Firemint. "It's simple, compelling and surprisingly deep. Spy mouse is a really big deal for us, which is why it has been two years in the making. We wanted to get it just right, and we think it will be the must-have iPhone game for 2011."
Firemint released a teaser trailer, and that's exactly what it is. One huge tease. No screens, gameplay or info.
On that note, we cannot wait to learn more about this bite sized adventure.
