Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance 40-50 Percent Finished, Contains Hidden Movie
Sora and friends move closer to making their 3DS debut.
Square Enix has been mum on the highly anticipated Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. The game was noticeably absent at last month's Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), while existing details failed to paint much of a picture for the Disney themed effort.
Thankfully, the publisher disclosed some info on its action adventure in the latest issue of Famistu.
Thus far, the game is between 40 and 50 percent complete, which should put its release well into 2012.
Beyond that, Dream Drop Distance will include a hidden movie (contents unknown) and will feature "XXX and XXX in Traverse Town", whatever that means.
As for the puzzling narrative, you can expect to learn about hidden data inside Sora, but that's not all. The title will also include hints for Kingdom Hearts III, while Xehanort's storyline will conclude in some fashion.
Still no word on characters and environments, but some news is certainly better than none.
