Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater 3D Delayed To 2012
Konami pushes one of 2011's biggest handheld titles to next year, possibly hurting 3DS sales in the process.
Snake? Snake? Snnnnnaaakkke!?!!?!?!
3DS owners received more bad news today from Konami. The company just revealed plans to delay the highly anticipated Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D to 2012.
No official reasons were given for the move, though it could be strategic. Over the past couple of years, we've seen quite a few fall/winter games miss the holiday rush to avoid disappearing amongst the clutter.
That said, it's without question a huge blow for Nintendo fans looking for a reason to buy a 3DS; they'll just have to make due with Mario Kart 3DS instead.
On the positive side, this may only apply to Australia and Europe. Konami has made no mention of a U.S. delay.
