Sega Bass Fishing Challenge Coming to iPhone and iPad this Fall
Catch the big one without waking up at the crack of dawn or putting slimy worms on hooks.
Dreamcast owners should have fond memories playing the launch title, Sega Bass Fishing, a faithful port of the 1998 arcade hit that worked best with the fishing rod peripheral.
Sega re-released the game over the years, most notably for the Xbox 360 and Wii. Now you'll be able to enjoy it wherever you go on iPhone and iPad with Sega Bass Fishing Challenge.
Based on the 2009 release of the same name, this attractive game lets you fish from home without enduring the tedium associated with the sport.
You'll cruise around in a boat, viewing the action from a third person perspective. After stopping to cast a line, the game transitions to an underwater view, displaying all of the fish within the area.
Hooking one of these suckers results in a tense battle, forcing you to reel it in without breaking the line.
The best part? You'll do this using either virtual or motion controls.
Although Sega has yet to reveal a firm release date, expect to see Sega Bass Fishing Challenge this Fall.
