Mario Kart 7 Hits 3DS December 4, Complete With First Person Driving
New mode could help make this game the best entry in Nintendo's long-standing series.
3DS owners hungry for some racing action will feast upon Mario Kart 7 when it arrives in stores December 4.
The newest addition to the popular series lets players speed along at 60 frames per second while catching big air with the help of built-in hang gliders.
On top of that, a recently released trailer (see below) reveals one of the more promising features, a first person driving mode that works in tandem with the system's built-in gyroscope.
Nintendo also took the opportunity to announce two new playable characters, Metal Mario and Lakitu, as well as a tricks system that brings to mind Mario Kart Wii.
We've had our eyes on this game for well over a year, and as you'll see from the video, Mario Kart 7 should definitely be worth the wait.
