Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Confirmed For PlayStation Vita
Capcom's brawler to feature online play. Even better, it's a launch title.
Back in 2004, Capcom helped kick off the PSP launch in Japan with Vampire Chronicle: The Chaos Tower, or as U.S. players know it, Darkstalkers Chronicle: The Chaos Tower.
Although it was light on features, this fighting game delivered pulverizing combat and slick 2D graphics.
Thankfully, history will repeat itself (sort of) with PlayStation Vita. Capcom officially announced plans to release a fighting game for the system's launch, and it's none other than Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3.
Promising 60 frames per second speed and online play, the company hopes to make a wonderful first impression. The game, essentially an update of this year's critically acclaimed beat-em-up, adds 12 new characters to the mix, bringing the roster to 50 warriors.
You can also expect re-balanced gameplay and enhanced modes.
For console players, it feels like a rip-off. On PlayStation Vita, it is without question one of the coolest launch titles and a potential must buy.
We can't wait.
