Apple's iPhone 5 To Have 3X Faster Internet
We just hope this extends to online gaming.
Next Tuesday (October 4), Apple will officially unveil another iPhone, the rumored iPhone 5.
Although we don't officially know what to expect, it appears China Unicom has more info than the rest of the world. According to the company, the new iPhone will work in tandem with HSPA+ networks.
What does that mean? Internet surfing will be three times faster than normal, at a much more impressive 21Mbps, as opposed to the current 7.2Mbps.
Thankfully, AT&T supports HSPA+, allowing U.S. customers to benefit from the increased speed.
How this ties into a new processor and, most importantly, playing online games, remains to be seen, but we'll know soon enough.
The grand unveiling is, after all, less than a week away. Yes, it's OK to admit you're counting the days.
