Club Nintendo: History of Handheld Systems- Collectible Cards
Goodbye, Wikipedia. Now you can learn about Nintendo portables with this exclusive card set.
If you play Nintendo games, signing up for Club Nintendo is a smart idea. The company's exclusive program lets you earn points for each game purchased, which you can redeem for unique prizes, including tote bags, folders, system cases and even screen savers.
After registering Professor Layton and the Last Specter, we visited the Rewards section and spied this brand new set of 12 cards featuring Nintendo's handheld systems. Each 6.125 X 4.125 card showcases a platform and the various history behind it, giving you a chance to brush up on all things DS, Game Boy and 3DS. In fact, the cards go back as far as the original Game & Watch.
Although you'll find more info on the Internet, you won't be able to score the card set anywhere else except Club Nintendo (or eventually eBay).
That said, you'll need 300 gold coins to "purchase" it.
