Super Mario 3D Land Sells Over 500,000 Copies In Japan
Nintendo's plumber makes a huge impact. Let's see if he can keep the momentum.
Japan. Super Mario 3D Land. November. Success.
Big shocker, the Japanese are still in love with Mario. You know, just like the rest of the civilized world. The plumber's latest adventure sold a hefty 542,842 copies throughout the month of November, with little to no resistance.
To put it in perspective, the number two game sold 234,627.
This is great news for Nintendo, especially with Mario Kart 7 debuting in Japan this month, followed by Monster Hunter 3G. Will be curious to see how well these games perform with PlayStation Vita on the shelf.
