Ridge Racer Vita's DLC Not Set In Stone For U.S. Market

Namco Bandai may deliver a more complete package for Western gamers.

A couple of weeks ago, fans were up in arms over Namco Bandai's decision to release Ridge Racer for PlayStation Vita with three tracks and five cars, with plans for downloadable content in the months ahead.

Turns out, this may be a Japan only thing.

While speaking to a representative today, he informed us that Namco Bandai is well aware of fan feedback concerning this particular issue, and that the DLC structure may be Japanese exclusive, with a more complete game appearing in the U.S. and Europe February 22.

While not set in stone, this is great news, since we had no intention of forking over the dough for an incomplete game.

That said, Ridge Racer Vita is back on our must play list.
