Telltale Breaks The Case Wide Open With Law & Order: Legacies
Episodic game based on the Emmy-winning television series, featuring popular characters from the show.
Thousands of players grew up with the popular TV show Law & Order, which has been on for more than 20 years with an impressive 456 episodes to its credit. In fact, we're willing to bet that an episode is on somewhere in the world.
That said, Telltale hopes to bring this series into the video game realm with Law & Order: Legacies, an episodic title coming this December (first two cases) for iPhone and iPad, with PC and Mac versions appearing early 2012.
From what we've seen, the game plays out like the show. The first half lets you investigate a murder, while the second part sends you directly into the courtroom to prosecute the accused.
On top of that, expect to see a variety of characters, as the game includes the likenesses of popular investigators, including Lennie Briscoe (Jerry Orbach, Law & Order), Rey Curtis (Benjamin Bratt, Law & Order), Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay, Law & Order: SVU) and Jack McCoy (Sam Waterston, Law & Order).
We're big fans of show (AKA we watch it late at night when there's nothing else on), so expect to hear more about Legacies this month.
