PlayStation Vita Complaints On The Rise, Sony Issues Apology
Early adopters complaining of unresponsive touch screens and game freezes.
Some consoles and handheld systems ship with glitches. It's a fact of life.
Just look at Microsoft and its infamous red ring of death fiasco with Xbox 360. Definitely one of the more embarrassing moments in video game history, but the publisher rebounded.
Now it's Sony's turn.
Those who purchased PlayStation Vitas in Japan last week have complained about unresponsive touch screens, game freezes and crashing.
Unfortunately, these don't appear to be isolated incidents, prompting Sony to apologize to Japanese consumers and issue a firmware update to resolve issues.
Keep in mind the handheld just launched, and Sony will do its best to stamp out these problems in time for the U.S. and European launches February 22. At least, it better.
