iOS Usage Hits 43 Percent In U.S., But Android Still Reigns
Apple rebounds during the busy holiday shopping season.
Apparently, Android's huge. We keep reading about the millions of people that own these devices, and how they're more popular than iPhone.
And yet, we can barely name ten people that own Androids.
Well, somebody has them, because Android held a 47 percent market share in October/November 2011, compared to 60 percent in Q3.
Apple, meanwhile, went from 26 percent in Q3 to a more impressive 43 percent, most likely the result of iPhone 4S.
The news comes from research group NPD, as reported by TechCrunch.
