Rayman Origins Platform Hopping To 3DS In March
Arrives more than a month after the PlayStation Vita edition, but we'll gladly take that over nothing.
Over the past couple of months, the 3DS version of Rayman Origins has been something of a mystery. First, we didn't know if it would appear. Then it would, but only in Europe.
Now, we're proud to announce that Ubisoft plans to bring this gorgeous and largely neglected platformer to the U.S. March 20. On top of that, it comes with StreetPass support, letting players exchange data, such as progression, number of collectibles, time played, unlocked achievements and avatar.
In case you missed this outstanding title (and you probably did), Origins takes place in a beautiful fantasy world starring Rayman and his whacky friends. You'll collect items, reveal secret locations and even ride a mosquito while marveling at the detailed 2D graphics.
The game has thus far performed poorly on consoles, but hopefully, the 3DS crowd will give it the respect it so rightfully deserves.
