Kid Icarus: Uprising Weapons- Shot Claws
Unleash the flame and pound monsters into mush with these dangerous, albeit short-range, instruments of destruction.
Hero Pit returns to battle Medusa and bring peace to the world in the all-new Kid Icarus: Uprising, launching March 23 for Nintendo 3DS.
Standing in his way, though, are Medusa's legions, the dreaded Underworld Army. Not that it matters much to Pit, since the winged protagonist has no qualms battling enemies more than three times his size.
Getting the job done, however, will involve plenty of skill and the mastery of multiple weapon types throughout this highly anticipated adventure.
Today, we'll run down the advantages and disadvantages of Shot Claws, melee weapons of pain that fire talons, while helping Pit carve his adversaries like moist turkey.
Tiger Claws
Is Pit man, or manimal? Neither, he's an angel, but these powerful Tiger Claws give him the speed of a wild beast. He'll need to get in close to do the most damage, but once he reaches a monster, it's officially on the menu.
Wolf Claws
Last we checked, wolves didn't command fire, making these specialized Wolf Claws unique. Pit not only chops away a creature's health, but also sets it ablaze with guided dash shots.
Brawler Claws
Little Mac, eat your heart out. Pit does his best Punch-Out!! impression by unleashing hundreds of quick punches upon his soon to be annihilated opponents. Brawler Claws are by far the quickest weapon, but have the shortest range with just an arm's length.
