Resistance: Burning Skies Chops Down Barriers This Spring
Two analog sticks on a portable first person shooter? Should be nice. Should be...very nice.
Sony is proud to announce that PlayStation Vita's first person shooter, Resistance: Burning Skies, will grace the handheld May 29, 2012.
In addition, it'll be the first FPS to work with the system's dual analog sticks. In fact, it'll be the first portable FPS to utilize dual analogs period.
To that end, the adventure takes place in August 1951 and chronicles the Chimera's attempt to invade the East Coast. You play as New Jersey fireman Tom Riley, who takes it upon himself to thwart the aliens' schemes while introducing these creatures to the joys of fist pumping and hair gel.
We had a chance to play Burning Skies last December and found it enjoyable. Let's hope the rest of this title is just as appealing.
