Picomy Games Unveils Beautiful iOS Platformer, Heroki
Explore a gorgeous world, completing side quests and battling a giant croc.
The platform genre has seen a welcome revival on the App Store, as countless developers pay homage to the 90s, back when the genre was king.
That said, it's important to make new games stand out, and this is evident in Picomy Games' upcoming title, Heroki, which features a very distinct cell shaded art style.
Beyond that, this gorgeous adventure puts you in control of Heroki, a youngster that gets around using a propeller on his head. In addition to exploring a sky village called Levantia, he'll complete side quests, open treasure chests and battle enemies, including a rather large and intimidating crocodile.
What's especially intriguing is the Flow Motion Control system that lets users guide Heroki without virtual buttons. Curious to see how that works.
For now, this could be another fine addition to the App Store. We'll have more info in the coming weeks.
