Confirmation for Burnout DS?

A recent magazine scan circulating the Internet has indicated that Electronic Arts is planning on bringing their high-speed, high-stakes racing game, Burnout Legends to the Nintendo DS. Originally, the game had only been planned for Sony's PlayStation Portable. Although the scan held no concrete information that the title was indeed coming to Nintendo's new handheld, Eurogamer is stating they may have some inside information on the purported title.

A source within Electronic Arts, says Eurogamer, is quoted as saying, "Yes, Burnout Legends is heading to the DS." Unlike its PSP counterpart, however, the game is under development by a third-party development house located in France, opposed to in-house development teams.

Burnout Legends includes levels from the three previous Burnout console titles, while including new cars and gameplay modes. Modojo will have more on the supposed DS title as information is released.
