3DS Sees Cobalt Blue Color & Bundles in Japan
Nintendo is releasing its sixth 3DS color variation this March.
Nintendo has announced that the next color variation for the 3DS portable will be Cobalt Blue. Alongside the vanilla version of the new color - which is due on Japanese shelves on March 22 for an MSRP of 15,000 yen - the company is also planning a number of special 3DS bundles. All announced bundles will carry an MSRP of 19,800 yen.
The first bundle sports the new Cobalt Blue sheen and a special design trying the system to its pack-in title, Fire Emblem Awakening. This bundle will be released alongside Fire Emblem on April 19, and will be sold exclusively through Nintendo online store. The bundle also includes a free 1,000 yen point card for Fire Emblem DLC.
Following the first bundle is a set of two bundles centered around Monster Hunter 3G. The 'Monster Hunter 3G Beginner Hunters Packs' include the game and either a red or black 3DS.
Finally, Super Mario 3D Land gets bundled with either a pink or white 3DS unit. Both bundles will include the Virtual Console version of Super Mario Bros pre-installed.
