MotoHeroz Rolling Onto iOS Next Week
RedLynx comes to its senses, expands beyond WiiWare.
The biggest knock against MotoHeroz is developer RedLynx's choice of platform. No offense to the Wii, but WiiWare doesn't compare to the App Store and the millions of people downloading content on a daily basis. Cool game, wrong machine.
With this in mind, the company made a smart decision in bringing MotoHeroz to iOS on March 15. The critically acclaimed racing platformer lets users compete against other players for best race times while collecting coins along the way.
New to the iOS version: touch based controls, the ability to shake the device to flip a car over and 54 Game Center achievements. On top of that, the port comes with asynchronous multiplayer, global leaderboards and the option to create a custom Friends League.
We missed this title on WiiWare, and hope to give it the attention it rightfully deserves next week.
