New Media: Twelve PSP
In case you were still undecided about importing
Set in an era of Japan known as Sengoku, the strategy RPG title will feature a unique cast of twelve characters which can be chosen individually as the main hero or heroine of the storyline. The battle system plays out in familiar SRPG style, with characters moving across a grid-based map one turn at a time as they advance towards their enemies.
Upon engaging one of the many foes, the screen will close up on the two combatants (ala Fire Emblem) as they then proceed to duke it out on their own. As you can no doubt tell from the batch of new screenshots, the visual style is one of much anime influence, with sprites representing characters on a 3D plane.
Twelve: Sengoku Fuushinden for the Sony PSP is scheduled to hit Japan later on this summer, with still no word on a North American release.
