Romance Comes to DS
Because Dynasty Warriors weren't the only things happening back then
Having previously announced quite some time ago that a version of the popular Dynasty Warriors franchise would be making its way to the Nintendo DS, Koei has today revealed that development of an additional title for the portable system is currently underway. Yet another version of one of the company's more famous series, Romance of the Three Kingdoms will see a release on the DS.
The in-depth strategy title will make use of the system's touch screen functions, allowing players to interact with the battle map displayed on the bottom screen, while essential scenario information dons the top screen. The option to utilize the D-pad and face buttons rather than the stylus will also be available.
Furthermore, the game will feature wireless multiplayer battles where players can compete against one another in five on five matches, along with the ability to share General data wirelessly.
Romance of the Three Kingdoms for the Nintendo DS is set to hit Japan later this September. As you can imagine, there is currently no mention of a North American release.
