Infinity Blade 2 Vault Of Tears Update Stomps App Store May 24
Chair Entertainment causes tears of joy with new monsters, items and ClashMob features.
Infinity Blade 2 continues to evolve since its December 2011 debut, with the surprise Vault of Tears DLC being the newest reason to own Chair Entertainment's hack-an-slash extravaganza. Set to debut this Thursday, May 24, the update contains a wealth of features the company has every right to charge for, but has elected to give away for free.
It starts with ClashMob, the relatively new social feature that now lets users earn extra turns while inviting their friends and family to do in-game damage through Facebook and Twitter.
On the single-player front, the update delves further into hero Siris' background, and ups the proverbial ante with new areas to explore and creatures to kill, including the Moss Golem, Dark Fiend, Bog Giant and Acolyte, among others.
What's more, the intriguing Treasure Map feature allows players to locate hidden allies and find new items and rewards. Speaking of items, expect more than 50, with a list that covers magic rings, weapons, shields, helmets and armor.
Finally, there are more achievements to unlock, gems to forge and various unannounced ClashMob updates that should further enhance the Infinity Blade 2 experience.
Yes, we know. It's a lot to take in, but that's definitely a good thing. We'll post a hands-on report later this week.
