Galaxy On Fire 2 Expansion Pack, Supernova, Explodes August 30
Popular space exploration game to receive an additional ten hours of play, along with new characters, ships and weapon systems.
If you haven't played Galaxy on Fire 2, visit the App Store after reading this article and download the game ASAP, as it's quite brilliant.
Praise aside, developer Fishlabs just announced that the title's highly anticipated expansion, Supernova, will see the light of day on multiple iOS platforms August 30 for both SD and HD versions.
This DLC picks up right after the events in the previous add-on, Valkyrie, with a strong focus on the Mido Confederation's fight against a strange group of stealth fighters and, as the title implies, a powerful supernova. Beyond that, players can expect at least 10 more hours of gameplay, along with new characters like scientist Thadellonius Moonsprocket, along with dozens of new space ships, gadgets, weapons, star systems and planets. In addition, gamers will harvest plasma resources from gas clouds, and go on new bounty hunter and evacuation missions.
All told, a whole bunch of fun stuff. Thankfully, we'll have a chance to see Supernova in action at this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in June.
No word on whether this update will make its way into the Android version.
