Unstoppable Fist Pulverizes Evil Chickens June 15
Tap to smash things in Ragtag Studios' punch-happy beat-em-up.
We're big Streets of Rage and Final Fight fanatics, so it's always great to see a game that brings back memories of shoving quarters into arcade machines and pummeling waves of baddies. That said, we can't wait to download Ragtag Studios' Unstoppable Fist when it punches its way to iOS June 15.
Unlike those aforementioned side scrolling titles, you don't necessarily move around. Instead, you take control of a muscle-bound guy by the name of Fist and attempt to plow through the Minions of Darkness using his (as the title clearly states) Unstoppable Fists and Loafers of Light.
How does the game play? The developers divide the left and right sides of the screen into three zones a piece, and you tap high, medium or low to correspond with the enemy's position, instructing Fist to turn whatever gets in his way (a demented chicken, for instance) into a pile of red goop.
What makes Unstoppable Fist so appealing are the pixel art graphics and retro style music, which Ragtag plans to give away for free. Suffice to say, we look forward to bloodying our virtual knuckles next month.
