Peter Molyneux Announces First Details of 22 Cans Project
'Curiosity' to combine the game actions of every player.
Speaking to Gametrailers at this year's E3, Peter Molyneux has given the first teasing hints about the content of the first title from his new studio.
Titled 'Curiosity', the game features nothing more than a giant black cube contained within a white room. As you zoom in on this black cube, it will become clear that it is composed of millions of smaller black cubes.
Chipping away at this cube will reveal....well, we're not exactly sure what it is that will be revealed, but we do know that it will be the combined actions of every other player chipping away at this block that will lead to the unveiling of whatever lies within.
While launch platforms were not detailed in full, Molyneux did reveal that Curiosity would be available for iOS devices.
Molyneux left Microsoft and Lionhead in March in order to found new indie studio 22 Cans. 'Curiosity' represents the first of many "experiments" Molyneux intends to unleash upon the world, before the release of a full game due in 2015.
