Meteos Hits the DS
Planet debris' a falling, can you launch it up in time?
Nintendo announced today that the much anticipated title from developers Q Entertainment, Meteos, has shipped nationwide for the Nintendo DS.
Previously released in Japan and on course for Europe later this September, Meteos is a puzzle game based on the basic gameplay fundamentals of titles like Tetris, where players are required to match multicolored blocks (planet debris) as they drop from the top of the screen.
Unique use of the DS's touch screen comes into play whilst using the stylus to drag the fallen blocks into the proper formations. Once the combinations are made, the set is then launched up into the top of the screen.
Meteos for the Nintendo DS is rated "E" for Everyone and is available at a MSRP of $29.99.
