Legend Cards Looks To Emulate Rage Of Bahamut Success
As the card battle competition heats up on iOS and Android, ngmoco returns with yet another entry in the genre.
After achieving great success on iOS and Android with the popular Rage of Bahamut, ngmoco is ready to add another card battle game in the form of Legend Cards. We know, not the most original title, but the app is already a smash hit in Japan with a fan base of 1.5 million users. In other words, the company sees dollar signs, and for good reason.
"We are always looking to expand our lineup with premium titles that have universal appeal," said Neil Young, CEO, ngmoco and Director, DeNA. "Trading card games are a huge phenomenon in Japan, and we are leading the charge in bringing top hits like Legend Cards to players worldwide."
Legend Cards is a social trading card game where players recruit machines, monsters and humanoids. The goal is to become a Card Master through building decks and fusing/evolving cards. As expected, online play should give this title longterm appeal, while the world of shonen manga makes Legend Cards a bit different looking than its rivals.
At the moment, you can download the game for free on Android. As for the iOS version, expect it sooner than later.
