Might And Magic: Clash Of Heroes Brings Tactical Puzzle Combat To iOS And Android
Award-winning RPG puzzler should play marvelously on smartphones and tablets.
The saying, everything old is new again definitely applies to mobile, where a slew of older games received a second (perhaps third and fourth) chance at glory on smartphones and tablets. The latest? Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes, the critically acclaimed and award winning puzzle RPG from Ubisoft.
Set to debut on iOS and Android devices at an unknown date, the port will retain the tricky puzzles, resource management and other role-playing elements that made it a hit. Users will recruit and level up units to build an army, uncover hidden artifacts and battle knights, elves, wizards and demons while playing as five main characters: Anwen, Godric, Fiona, Aidan and Nadia.
During play, they'll create offensive and defensive formations, cast spells and achieve combos against their adversaries as they seek to destroy the opposition (including bosses) with a limited number of turns. Afterwards, they'll earn valuable XP points, used to level up both heroes and units.
Have to admit, we missed this title when it debuted on DS, PS3 and Xbox 360 a while back. Perhaps this was for the better, as Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes appears perfectly suited to mobile platforms. As usual, we'll have more info in the coming weeks.
