Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition To Feature Additional DLC
Only new content will be sold for an additional charge.
Excited about Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition for the iPad this summer? We've got some great news for you. As well as bringing the PC classic back to life for the tablet, the developer is also promising additional DLC for the title.
While this DLC will be paid-for content, nothing from the original game will be sneakily left out of the main release and charged for at a later date.
Shacknews (via VG24/7) reported on comments made by developer head Trent Oster on Twitter:
"We would never DLC existing content. Any DLC content we plan to sell will be all new," he said.
There also won't be any over-powered items made available either.
"The big guys have overcooked the term with badness, " he added, stressing that we won't be seeing any "furry earings +3" in future DLC.
"Our distribution plan is sell through Beamdog and provide an updater/launcher so we can push new updates easily. No player required," he concluded.
