TheEndApp Cheats And Tips

We help you survive the virtual apocalypse with duct tape to spare.

In case you haven't heard, the world's supposed to end this year. Don't panic. Although millions (maybe billions) of people will die, you just might survive. That is, if you play TheEndApp, the post apocalyptic runner for iPhone and iPad.

OK, that's a total crock. We doubt the game will teach you anything to avoid your inevitable demise, but at the very least, these cheats and tips should help you master the virtual wasteland in no time.

Grab As Much Duct Tape As Possible

This one's obvious, but needs to be said anyway. Duct Tape is the game's official currency, and it's in your best interest to fill your virtual backpack with the green stuff, because without Duct Tape, you simply won't be able to unlock TheEndApp's full potential.

Splurge Via In-App Purchases

If you don't feel like building a Duct Tape collection by naturally playing the game, buy it with real cash and/or enable all features outright. Here's the breakdown:

The End Pro Version ($1.99): Enables all features.

Handful of Duct Tape ($0.99): 15,000 DT pack.

Pallet of Duct Tape ($4.99): 150,000 DT pack.

Duct Tape Container ($9.99): 400,000 DT pack.

Duct Tape Shipment ($19.99): 1,000,000 DT pack.

Skip Challenges With Duct Tape

Stuck on a particular mission in the game's Challenges mode? Skip that sucker by spending Duct Tape. You'll forfeit the reward, but at least you can move on.

Use Boosters

TheEndApp comes with boosters to give you that all-important edge. They include:

Lucky Coin: Gives you 50 percent chance to continue after game over.

Headstart: Gives you a movie mode when you start running.

Score Booster: Increases booster value by 100 for one run.

Distance Booster: Increases power-up distances by 20 percent for one run.

Platinum Coin: Increases lucky coin win ratio to 75 percent for one run.

Enhance Power-Ups

It's one thing to unlock the DT Magnet. It's enough to level it up. The basic magnet lets you collect more duct tape on 200 yards. The next one, though, lets you collect more on 400 yards. Similarly, the base Shield protects you from hits and the heat of lava on 300 yards, while the Big Shield does the same for 400. Considering how crazy things become the longer you run, picking up the Big Shield is a smart idea.

Think A Step Or Two Ahead

TheEndApp grows more intense with each passing second, and it's important to monitor your surroundings and plot your next move, be it sliding underneath debris or jumping off a ramp. Last thing you need is a nasty surprise.

Never Take Your Eyes Off Screen

This isn't some turn-based strategy game. The action never stops, and you need to keep your eyeballs glued to the iPhone or iPad screen. There can be no distractions.

If You Get Distracted, Close The Game

Exiting the app puts the current run on pause. When you hop back in, a countdown timer will let you regain your bearings.
