Spy Vs Spy Sneaking Onto iPhone And iPad This Summer, New Gameplay Trailer Released
Popular comic strip and classic video game resurrected, but remember, it's BYOB.
Spy vs Spy is a comic strip that first appeared in MAD Magazine in 1961. In it, two spies (one wearing black, the other white) attempt to outwit each other through any means necessary. Amusing and perhaps politically motivated, the spies endured for decades, even making an appearance in a 1984 video game released on Apple II, Atari 400/800 and Commodore 64; other titles followed.
We missed the original effort, and thankfully, it seems we'll get a second chance, courtesy of First Star Software and Warner Bros., as Spy vs Spy is set to detonate on iPhone and iPad this summer.
Based on that first title, the revamp features BYOB (Bring Your Own Bomb) tactics, a variety of traps and weapons to annihilate the other spy, online/local multiplayer, old school and revamped graphics, a lengthy Campaign Mode and Game Center support. We don't have a firm release date yet, but for now, this trailer should suffice.
