Rubicon Development's Great Little War Game is still the perfect alternative for Nintendo fans looking for get their Advance Wars fix on mobile. Now it faces stiff competition from its own developer, as the studio preps the sequel, Great Big War Game, for an iOS and Android debut July 18; it'll cost $2.99, with a free Lite version on the way.
What can you expect from this surprise title? Let's start with a 50 mission single-player campaign, as gamers take control of a soldier named Jenkins as he attempts to win battles while taking orders from the short-sighted Generalissimo. From there, Rubicon will include online asynchronous multiplayer between iOS and Android devices, offline Skirmish and Pass 'n Play (either against a person or the computer), 70 multiplayer maps, Retina-enabled graphics, customizable armies and chat functionality.
