Knights Of The Round Cable Cheats And Tips
Earn more coins, learn the best way to collect gems and watch out for exclamation points with our latest guide.
Chillingo just released Knights of the Round Cable for iPhone and iPad, and this entertaining game is just as addictive as Angry Birds and Cut the Rope. It's also a bit tricky, which is why we created this Knights of the Round Cable cheats and tips guide that'll keep you swinging and collecting gems for hours while dominating the leaderboards.
Choose The Knight That Suits You
There are 11 characters in Knights of the Round Cable, 10 of which possess unique abilities that may prove useful or disastrous, depending on your tastes. Sir Berzac, for instance, comes with a helpful rocket boost, while Sir Safir defies gravity.
That said, here's the full list of knights, and what you'll need to do to unlock them all. Well, excluding Sir Duncan, since he's available from the beginning. Keep in mind that you must clear a specific mission rank to be able to purchase these knights.
Sir Berzac The Fire Knight (200 Coins): Complete all Rank 1 missions.
Sir Safir The Sky Knight (300 Coins): Complete all Rank 2 missions.
Sir Drake The Dragon Knight (400 Coins): Complete all Rank 3 missions.
Sir John-Daisy The Sexy Knight (5,000 Coins): Complete all Rank 4 missions.
Sir Azimuth The Dark Knight (6,000 Coins): Complete all Rank 5 missions.

Don't Ignore The Left Button
The left virtual button changes a knight's direction, be it clockwise or counterclockwise. Using it is a great way to build momentum and get the hero out of harm's way. Don't simply rely on the right button, which latches onto anchor points.
Spend Coins On Power-Ups
If you intend to get the highest score possible with the lowly Sir Duncan, we salute you. We'll even give a nod if you plan to do this without upgrading his Heart Points or making use of different items. We, on the other hand, plan to spend a little coin on the following.
Last Chance Rocket: Explodes, taking out remaining birds.
Heart Points: Adds precious hearts to the knight's health bar.
Magnets: Attracts nearby gems.
Jewels: Increases the amount of gems you pick up.
Always Rescue Princesses
These damsels in distress are worth a few hundred points apiece. Don't leave them hanging, literally.
Pick Up Gems Around A Single Grapple Point
Early on, you'll probably bounce all over the place haphazardly collecting gems. Hey, it's cool. That's what everyone does the first couple of times, but this isn't a sound strategy to scoring tons of points. To send your high score into the stratosphere, wait for gems to appear around a single anchor point, then latch on and grab them all for a sweet bonus. Try and make a habit of doing this throughout the entire game, and you'll climb the leaderboards in no time.
Beware Of Exclamation Points
When you see this punctuation mark (normally over an castle window or in the air), it means an enemy is about to appear. That's your cue to get as far away from that spot as possible.
Don't Let Gems Disappear
If you leave a group of gems alone, they'll eventually disappear. Before that happens, they'll flicker. If, let's say, there are three flickering gems remaining around a particular anchor point, collecting just one of them will prevent the others from vanishing, at least temporarily.
Want a bonus? Then complete missions while playing the game. These range from scoring 2,500 points to reaching Castle 3. You can find a list of the current missions by pausing the game, or hitting the Missions button at the main menu. On top of that, you can skip difficult missions by spending coins.
Cheat And Buy More Coins
Yes, even you can afford to unlock the mighty King Arthurion for 60,000 coins. Simply head to the Knights of the Round Cable store and stuff your pockets with virtual loot.
