Mutant Roadkill Cheats And Tips
Earn coins and drive for miles with help from our monster-bashing guide.
The unforgiving world of Mutant Roadkill is enough to break the spirit of any gamer, thanks to all those nasty creatures walking around. That said, we'll do our best to keep you alive with these life-saving cheats and tips.
Hit Mutants To Earn Coins
Sounds like a no-brainer, right? Anyone who downloads Mutant Roadkill knows the goal is to run over these suckers, yes? We certainly hope so, because each splattered monster results in a single coin added to one's virtual bank account. In other words, don't avoid the mutants.
Avoid Bomb Mutants
OK, so you should avoid some mutants, namely the ones that blow up. You'll see these suckers a few hundred feet away, as they're bigger than the rest. Just drive around them.
Remove Mutants From Your Car
Some mutants have a nasty habit of latching onto your ride; this is especially true of the mutants with oversized claws. To keep the vehicle mutant free, graze the sides of abandoned cars and buses to knock them off. You can also prevent mutants from hitching a ride by running them over head-on.
That said, you'll always be able to spot hitchhiker mutants. They're the darker ones with the exclamation points that appear over their heads when you're nearby.
Running over mutants, one after the other, results in a combo that helps build the meter on the left side of the screen. Why is this important? Once the meter's full, you gain access to a randomly selected item, be it gun turret or speed boost, to name a few. Once again, don't avoid the mutants.
Turn At The Right Time
Don't wait too long to swipe left or right to turn in those respective directions. Time it just right to avoid smacking into a wall. The earlier, the better.
Upgrade To A Better Vehicle
That old clunker you start out with gets the job done, but you'll definitely benefit from upgrading to one of five additional rides, all of which feature superior handling and armor.
Maximize each item's potential to net the most coins. Here's what you can do.
Coin Bag: Increase to 50 (or more) coins.
Driver Weapon: Medium caliber pistol.
Nitro Boost: to seven (or more) seconds.
Turret: Light machine gun.
Shock: Medium (or higher) capacitors.
Repair: Increase repair chance.
In addition to power-ups, you'll also find the following items that'll help big time.
Bounty Hunter (20 Gold): Triples coins for kills.
Revive (30 Gold): Continue after death.
Super Bomb (20 Gold): Destroys everything.
Headstart (1,000 Coins) Start 1.5 miles ahead.
Super Headstart (5,000 Coins): Start three miles ahead.
Completing sub missions will result in rewards after you die. These goals range from driving one mile without a combo kill to getting three near misses from a Bomb Mutant. Others, like slaughtering 30 mutants, are a bit easier.
