Epic Raiders Cheats And Tips
Want to master GAMEVIL's RPG? Here's some advice: get a high-paying job.
GAMEVIL took in-app purchases to a whole other level with its free-to-play RPG/strategy game, Epic Raiders, currently available for iPhone, iPad and Android. This engrossing effort tasks you with creating a team of four heroes, outfitting these warriors with the finest gear and then smashing hordes of enemies while also keeping the healer, otherwise known as the Saint, alive. It's smart, oddly adorable and quite time consuming, the sort of freemium title we enjoy sinking our claws into.
Success, however, literally comes at a price. On that note, we created this Epic Raiders cheats and tips guide to give you a much-needed assist on the battlefield, with numerous hints provided directly from GAMEVIL, conveniently supplied within the game.
Gain The Upper Hand With In-App Purchases
It's a lot easier to kill orcs, skeletons and bats if you carry the most powerful weapons and gear. With this in mind, you'll need a sizable amount of virtual currency to get the job done, and GAMEVIL is happy to oblige...for a price.
Note: Don't go right for the gold. Stars play a huge role in Epic Raiders, so consider stocking up on them instead.

Choose Your Team Carefully
You can only bring up to four heroes into a fight, and it's smart to create a balanced squad that plays off each other's strengths. That said, consider mixing ranged and melee attacks. On that note, here are the characters you should take a look at.
Archer: Attacks from afar and confuses enemies.
Temple Knight: This defensive class absorbs enemy strikes while automatically healing other party members.
Assassin: Strikes from close range with fast attack speed.
Mage: Makes use of buffs to increase stats and attacks monsters to boot.
Barbarian: Great close range warrior that does the dirty work.
Knight: All-around class that's effect at close range.
Always Include A Healer In Your Party Whenever Possible
This very important class fills other characters' health meters from afar. Bottom line, you shouldn't leave home without one.
Bats Always Attack Healers
These annoying critters make a beeline to this character, so be sure to move her away while striking this enemy down pronto.
Use Special Attacks, But Use Them Wisely
Each character has one special attack (look for it on the top right side of the screen) that works on a cool-down timer. In other words, once you use it, you'll need to wait for it to recharge. The Barbarian, for instance, throws an axe that knocks an enemy down for a few seconds, letting you score some bonus hits. Just make sure you don't waste these maneuvers early on. Instead, save them for tougher waves of enemies, or as a last resort if your healer goes down.
Purchase Weapons/Equipment To Upgrade Characters
While visiting the in-game shop, you can always tell if a highlighted weapon/piece of equipment makes a character stronger if there's a red arrow pointing up within said hero's image. Conversely, a blue arrow pointing down represents a downgrade. No arrow? The selected item does nothing.
Don't Limit Yourself To Buying Weapons Exclusively
You must also consider acquiring helms, armor, shields and magic items. Wouldn't you prefer to have a Special Orb of Vitality (Legend) that increases a character's HP 100 percent, or a Special Book of Knowledge that boosts his or her EXP 20 percent in battle? Of course you would.
You Always Earn Gold, Win Or Lose
Granted, winning the battle yields a lot more, but the modest Fail Reward is certainly better than nothing.
You Can Sell Equipment
Need gold? Press the Inven (inventory) button on the main screen, tap the desired weapon twice and then hit the Sell icon. You may also upgrade as well.
Upgrade Characters Using Stars
You'll need gold to unlock all of the characters. From there, you have the option to go premium using stars. Do this, and that character's HP, Attack and Defense points receive a huge boost.
In Multiplayer, Choose The Difficultly That Suits You
GAMEVIL gives you the chance to search for opponents spread across five difficulties: Beginner, Amateur, Expert, Master, Hero.
Note: Some multiplayer modes and dungeon mode require Network Coupons, purchased using stars.
In Multiplayer, Go After Opponent's Healer
Killing this character robs your adversary of extra health, leaving his or or her remaining party members vulnerable. On the flip side, always make sure your healer is in a safe place and/or protected.
